Team Quality Life Ramblers and Rollers

The Quality Life Ramblers and Rollers had a great time at the 2008 Walk for Thought in Little Rock over the weekend. We headed down to the capital at 7:00 am and arrived about 10:30. A hail storm tore through Little Rock Friday night, so the ground was damp and the air was much cooler than in Fayetteville. We didn't let the weather dampen our spirits! We all completed the 1 mile walk and then went to lunch at The Buffalo Grill before driving back to Fayetteville.

Art and Ability Fundraiser at Common Grounds Coffee House Benefits Quality Life

Quality Life is pleased to present The Art-effect, an inspiring collection by participants in The Learning and Creativity Center (TLCC).

TLCC is a program centered on the creative arts that allows individuals with disabilities to gain greater independence within their own lives and the community at large. The Common Grounds Coffee House will be displaying pieces for six months in 2007 beginning in April.

The kick-off event is April 3, 2007 from 7-9pm. The focus of the evening is to bring greater awareness of Quality Life and the life-changing experiences that art is fostering among the program participants. The purpose of the evening is to celebrate some very gifted individuals, and to benefit the programming at Quality Life that make it possible.

Mark your calendars! Quality Life's Garden Party 2008 will be held on Saturday, May 3 from 7 PM until midnight. The event will take place at The Village at Scull Creek and will include live music, a silent auction, and an art show and sale.
