The Village at Scull Creek Apartments is almost one year old! As we reflect on the excitement of the ribbon cutting celebration held on December 6, 2007 and the grand opening of the apartments in January 2008, we are reminded daily of the benefits of having an integrated community of people--all experiencing independent living here at our campus. As the nonprofit organization that supports the dynamics of the apartment complex, our vision at Quality Life Associates is to provide just a little extra support to assist those individuals who may need a little help to sustain community-based living. For residents who happen to have some kind of impairment or disability, just knowing that there is someone available to seek guidance from that is available on-site during business hours, can be a "make it or break it" resource to enhance their long-term success with independent living.
